During this workshop you will learn about the making of clay before trying your hand at throwing and hand-building from our skilled Heritage Artisan. This workshop is adaptable for beginner and experienced potters and includes all necessary tools and materials. Completed projects will be finished by the Potter and later ready for pick-up or mailing to you.

- 10% discount to McDaniel's Tea Room

To make the most of this experience, we suggest planning ahead. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

- Participants are welcome to bring their own packed lunch or enjoy a lunch at the Tea Room with your discount.
- This experience will take place rain or shine.
- Bring a water bottle and water dispensers are available to fill up.
- Keep in mind that pieces will need to be dried and fired after their build, this can take up to 3-5 weeks. We will contact you to arrange pick-up/delivery. There's no guarantee that all pieces will come out of the kiln completely intact; accidents and errors can occur and affect the finished product.
- The workshop takes place in the open Pottery Shop where visitors will stop and engage with the Potter, and likely the participant, but Potter's attention will be focused on participant while they balance visitor needs.
