For three decades, Christmas here at Sherbrooke Village has been on of Nova Scotia's most cherished holiday traditions - bringing thousands of visitors to experience the old-fashioned magic of the season in the heart of the Eastern Shore. We are pleased to continue the tradition in 2026.
From the breathtaking tree-lighting ceremony, fireworks, and free family activities, Christmas at Sherbrooke Village has always been a celebration of togetherness. The new experiences like heritage craft workshops, light displays, and festive photo stations, ensure there's something for everyone. The event is now a multi-day experience beyond the wildly popular Friday night community festival. Christmas at Sherbrooke Village has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors over 30 years of Old-Fashioned Christmas celebrations, and we are preparing for thousands of attendees in 2026.
Admission to Friday's Community Evening only is FREE. Weekend Admission Passes for Saturday and Sunday are $20 per adult. Children 12 and under are FREE. Summary schedule of event activities is listed below. Workshops and culinary experiences have limited seating - we highly recommend booking advance when tickets go on sale to reserve your seats.

A spectacular 65,000 lights illuminate the Village each evening from 6pm to 10pm from Opening Night to January 6th - the perfect setting for a stroll in the crisp winter air!
