Step into the dimly lit streets of Sherbrooke Village this fall for an all-new ghostly experience unlike any before. Inspired by a decade-old tragedy in the village theatre, The Ghost Light of Sherbrooke Village tells the chilling tale of children lost to a mysterious poisoning, whose spirits linger still, tethered to the stage by the ever-burning Ghost Light.
As an audience member, you’ll don a custom-made period cloak and carry a lantern to guide your path through shadowed streets and historic buildings. Guided by figures in authentic attire, you’ll encounter eerie whispers, fleeting shadows, and haunted remnants of a tragedy that time has not erased. Can the Ghost Light truly protect the living—or has the darkness begun to creep beyond its flame?
Over approximately 75 suspense-filled minutes, your journey through Sherbrooke’s darkened corners will blur the line between history and haunting, legend and reality. Spaces are limited to maintain an intimate and immersive experience, recommended for ages 13 and up. Parental discretion is advised.

* This tour will last approximately 75 minutes and launch from the Sherbrooke Village Courthouse. Parking is available on the street outside the gate as well as at both Heritage park and the G.W. Griffin Funeral Home.
** You can expect an experience that is thrilling by way of the telling of classical ghost stories, startling and unexpected scares, loud sounds, theatrical lighting, graphic imagery, and light gore.
*** Restrooms are available at the beginning and end of the tour only. Dress for weather and rugged terrain, as our walking tour takes place on gravel and grass alike and is meant to be held rain or shine.
